Verenigingsdag 2012

This year, in an effort to reach out to the local expat community and businesses, TIC will be trying to increase its visibility through various outlets including ads in the local newspapers, folders at community centers and participation in events such as Verenigningsdag at the Heyhoef, in the Reeshof.

On September 1st, Thijs and I gamely set up our table to represent TIC. Luckily, we spent a fun day talking to many different people from all over the world, under gorgeous blue skies.  We worked hard to promote the club’s activities to young and old alike.

We ended up handing out quite a few membership forms so I hope this means that we will be welcoming a few new faces to our upcoming events.  If you see someone new, please take a moment to introduce yourself and welcome the newcomer(s) the way we hope you experienced your own welcome!
