March 28th – TIC borrel in new Tilburg location…Wijnbar Corton – Heuvelstraat 139.

Anne hosted this Friday afternoon Borrel and it turned out to be a rather intimate gathering, with only 3 other members present. No problem with that, however, since the new-to-Tilburg venue we had chosen was quite compact, so our group was a nice size. It also gave my husband and I a chance to have a really good conversation with members Rick Tillman and George Oeser – who LOVE living in Tilburg! – not to mention the delicious wine and antipasti snacks we enjoyed! Since the owner of the Wine bar is a “vinoloog” that part of our borrel was in good hands. What a relaxing start of the weekend!

While to location is small, they have a nice roomie terrace area, so I tucked away the location and plan to return when there is “terrace weather”.
