This privacy statement describes how the tilburg international club (tíc) uses and protects any information that you give us. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. If you provide us with personal information, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
The personal information you provide to the tilburg international club (tíc) when submitting personal data, comments, inquiries or joining as a member is never sold, rented, leased, exchanged or released without your consent to any third parties. Additionally, we do not share personal data with our sponsors, partners or other business associates. Personal information includes electronic as well as hard copy documents.
Gathering of Personal Data
The amount and type of information that tíc gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who complete online forms to provide a email addresses.
In each case, tíc collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with tíc. tíc does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities, like registering for events or leaving comments.
All tíc members receive an electronic copy of the tíc Membership Directory so that they may be able to contact one another. The Directory may not be copied, distributed or used for commercial purposed. The Directory uses certain data from the tíc Membership Form including Last Name, First Name, Address, Postcode, City, Mobile number, e-mail address, Nationality, Partner’s Last Name, Partner’s First Name, Partner e-mail address, Partner Nationality.
Outside of the data collection performed by WordPress.org, personal data submitted via any form on this website is used with the express intention stated on the form.
Outside of the data collection performed by WordPress.org, personal data is not collected from any personal device.
Protection of Certain Personal Data
tíc discloses potentially personal data only to those board members and member volunteers who (i) need to know that information in order to process it on tíc’s behalf or to provide services available through tíc, and (ii) have agreed not to disclose it to others.
Use of personal information
We use the information you provide to register for a membership, attend our events, receive newsletters, use certain other services, or participate in tíc activities in any other way.
We would like to send you email communication which may be of interest to you from time to time. If you have consented to receiving communications, you may opt out later. If you no longer wish to receive email communications, please click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or send us an email at email@example.com.

Retention of personal information
We will retain your personal information only for as long as we need to, for the success delivery of services available through tíc. We keep contact information (such as mailing list information) until a user unsubscribes or requests that we delete that information from our contact lists. If you choose to unsubscribe from a mailing list, we may keep certain limited information about you so that we may honor your request.
tíc will not delete personal data from logs or records necessary to the operation of tíc .
WordPress.org shall maintain WordCamp attendee data for 3 years to better track and foster community growth, and then automatically delete non-essential data collected via registration. Attendee names and email addresses will be retained indefinitely, to preserve our ability to respond to code of conduct reports.
When deletion is requested or otherwise required, all electronic and hard copy documents of the requested will be deleted other than the records necessary to the operation of tíc.
