We are always looking to expand our activity on social media to make it easier for expats to learn how we can support them.
Our major priority is developing a stronger online presence to showcase our club, events, goals and attractive membership benefits.

Even you are not familiar with social media but curious and want to learn, we are happy to show you how it all works!
tíc Needs your help – calling all Twitter maniacs!
Our major priority is developing a stronger online presence to showcase our club, events, goals and attractive membership benefits through Twitter. Twitter is one of the best social media platforms to find out what people think about our club and build our club “brand”. We would love the help of a dedicated “tweeter” for our club!
You can help us by doing any of the following:
- scheduling 3 – 5 tweets/day
- commenting on tweets
- re-posting tweets
- coordinating themes with our other social media platforms
- share helpful links and tips with our followers
If you are interested in social media, specifically Twitter, this would be a great opportunity to gain some experience with this tool. And, you would be making a significant contribution towards expanding our reach to other internationals in Brabant. If you like communicating in a fun and educational way with expats in Brabant, this might just be the volunteer opportunity for you! Just fill out the form below to let us know!

Did you know that #tíburginternationalclub regularly tweets about job vacancies, local news, area events, #Dutch culture and much more? We also regularly post invitations to our tíc events making it that much easier to stay up-to-date on all of our club activities.
We get many requests all year round for help with #job searches. Did you know that many job listings are posted on Twitter asking for candidates who speak a foreign language other than Dutch? Maybe you can find your perfect job through Twitter!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Twitter, you can often follow in real time what’s happening in the world right now. Whether you’re interested in music, sports, politics, news, celebrities, or everyday moments, there’s something for everyone.

Focus on Social Media, New Member Outreach

We are so very happy to welcome Mala back to the #TilburgInternationalClub board! Mala has been with TIC since the beginning and played many (maybe all?) roles within the board. After a hiatus from her board duties to just enjoy being a member, Mala has returned to fill a much needed function within the group. Her main focus will be on communication through social media and new member outreach.
You may have already noticed more postings on our Facebook page, Twitter, LinkedIn as well as the website. If you aren’t following TIC on one (or all) of these sites, please take a moment to do so. Not only are upcoming events posted, but also interesting articles, posts by other organizations, job postings and regular club updates.
In addition, if you have ideas for new club events or think maybe your company would be interested in sponsoring a membership to TIC for its expats, feel free to get in touch with Mala to set up an appointment.
The board is excited about the new look and feel of our social media sites and hope that we can keep you both informed and entertained. Join us in welcoming Mala back to your TIC board – we wish her much success in her new role!

We are happy to announce the launch of our official twitter account @tilintclub which we hope will be a platform for members to communicate and share information on TIC happenings and of all things expat. TIC will be tweeting out information concerning news of upcoming events, and sharing the content we regularly post on our website.
